TITLE AND LOCATION:         REPLACE MILITARY FAMILY HOUSING, EAGLE
                                   INCIRLIK AB, ADANA / TURKEY

HIGHLIGHTS

. Underground Site Scanning by Ground Penetrating Radar

. Design of a complete new neighborhood district, c/w all 
underground utilities and recreational facilities.









Aim of the project, was to replace the existing MFH located at Southeast end of the Incirlik AB which had been constructed in 1950's. Scope of the project consisted of demolition of the existing housing, c/w all underground utility lines and structures and construct 100 each brand new housing units for the U.S. Military personnel, which will comply with the latest applicable standards of construction and contemporary living standards. Scope also required construction of totally new utility systems including  sewage,  storm drainage,  water and electrical distribution networks for the new Housing, replacing the old and troublesome utility networks within the project area. Preliminary estimated cost of the project, was approx. 18,000,000 for 100 military dwelling units with total construction area of 212,316 sq.ft. (19,732 sq.meters) excluding auxiliary recreational structures and features. Design phase of contract included topographical surveying, soils investigation, underground surveying thru Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and magnetometer measurements and design for recreational areas within the project site.
